Rough Trade to open store in Paris

Good news for French crate-diggers, Rough Trade is setting up shop in Paris.

CEO of French bank Lazard, Mathiau Pigasse has confirmed that he is in talks with the British chain to bring the store to the French capital.

The store would be part of a new complex housing weekly magazine Les Inrockuptibles, radio station Radio Nova, VICE, publishing house Editions Nova and a venue for live music.

While the arrangement seems to only be in early stages, Pigasse spoke at a keynote and expressed a personal interest in “investing in the production and distribution of music.”
