You may have to take out a loan if you want to buy these limited edition, mint condition, gold plated turntables
A pair of very rare, mint condition gold Technics SL-1200’s have gone on sale on eBay. According to The Vinyl Factory the decks feature consecutive serial numbers, a pair of limited Ortofon Gold concords, matching gold boxes, gold 45 adapters and are still in their original packaging. They are apparently from a run of 20 such turntables produced back in 2004.
These turntables won’t come cheap though, they are expected to sell for a guide price of around £12,000. If money’s no object and you find yourself yearning for these extremely rare decks you can check out the eBay listing here.
