Convergence share first line-up announcement for 2017

Returning for it’s fourth edition, Convergence Festival have announced their first wave of names for the 2017 event.

Kicking things off with an opening night of concerts including the drone mastery of Sunn O))), experimental neoclassical composer Hildur Guðnadóttir, Rival Consoles at Village Underground and London pop duo Formation playing their biggest ever headline date at XOYO.

Highlights across the rest of the programme include a rare live outing from The Ash Ra Tempel Experience (a collaborative ensemble made up of Ariel Pink , Shags Chamberlain, Oren Ambarchiand Manuel Göttsching), Shobaleader One, an Actress live set and Randomer.

Convergence Sessions will also be hosted by Native Instruments, Marshmallow Laser Feast , onedotzero, Carroll/Fletcher , Elektra, Punchdrunk, British Council , Circa69, and Mixcloud.

Convergence takes place from 21- 25 March 2017 in venues across London including Barbican, Electric Brixton, Village Underground, Scala, XOYO and Behind The Bike Shed.

The full programme of workshops, speakers and panelists is yet to be announced.
