Watch Stanley Donwood paint artwork for Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool

The behind-the-scenes clip was filmed in Donwood’s studio in France last year

A video of Stanley Donwood hard at work on one of the many versions of Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool artwork has emerged. The short clip, uploaded by Youtuber CitizenInsane, appears to date back to August 2015, around the time the band were working on A Moon Shaped Pool and if you listen closely you can hear Thom Yorke talking as the band rehearses in the background.

Donwood, who has provided artwork for all of Radiohead’s releases since their 1994 EP My Iron Lung, can be seen working on a painting surrounded by numerous different versions of what would eventually become the artwork for A Moon Shaped Pool.
