Good news! Baltimore synthpop trio Future Islands will tour the UK and Europe in the spring.
As it stands, there is no news of new music from Future Islands but this is a promising sign. Playing their first European headline shows since 2015, Samuel T. Herring, William Cashion and Gerrit Whelmers will start in Berlin before travelling through the UK and ending in Dublin.
The band’s most recent album, Singles, came out in 2014 via 4AD and featured the single Seasons (Waiting on You), which ranked high in a number of end-of-year tracks list that year.
