Beat-Herder Festival announce Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and Sleaford Mods for 2017

The initial lineup has been shared for Beat-Herder Festival.

Located at Ribble Valley in Lancashire, the weekend-long event boasts a mixture of dub, reggae, house, psytrance, techno, indie, rock, psychedelic, drum & bass and dubstep spread across 21 stages.

Sleaford Mods, Trentemøller, David Rodigan MBE, Toots & The Maytals, The Sugarhill Gang and Adrian Sherwood are all among the first round of names to be announced for the event.

OPTIMO, Faithless, Jackmaster, Jon Hopkins and Factory Floor will also perform.

The site for Beat-Herder festival is entirely handmade. According to a press release, “the eccentric creators source unusual materials to conjure up unique and impressive elements and stages to explore and discover.”
