Berghain to open a third dancefloor this March

The new Säule floor will operate a more experimental booking policy

Storied Berlin nightclub Berghain has revealed plans to open a brand new floor. According to Electronic Beats, the Säule floor will open on the ground floor area beneath Berghain’s dancefloor, which has been closed for renovation recently. The word Säule means ‘pillar’ in German.

According to reports, the floor – which joins Berghain and Panorama Bar as a key space within the nightclub complex – will present a more experimental programme of music with Mannequin Records’ Alessandro Adriani, Deena Abdelwahed and Natalia Escobar playing the opening night on 23 March.
