Estrella Damm tap Horse Meat Disco for launch party of film, The Little Things

To celebrate the launch of The Little Things, a new short film starring Leon star Jean Reno and ascendant BAFTA-nominated Spanish actress Laia Costa, Estrella Damm are throwing a launch party at a Shoreditch venue on 1 June.

The film is directed by Spanish screenwriter and director Alberto Rodríguez. It tells the story of a elder thespian (Reno) and his assistant (Costa) as they navigate their conflicting outlooks on life – Reno is stubborn and cynical while his assistant is urging him to properly immerse himself in the creative community and culinary scene which surrounds him.

Set in the blissful Balearic climes of Majorca, Costa’s character eventually manages to coerce her boss into exploring the island where he meets new people, tries new food and gets a taste of the local beer.

To capture the spirit of the location, iconic South London selectors Horse Meat Disco will play a special Mediterranean inspired set – digging deep into their crates of euphoric disco rarities. The party takes place at an esteemed Shoreditch venue from 8pm to 11:30pm on Thursday 1 June.

The film will be shared in full via Estrella Damm’s website and YouTube channel on 2 June. Watch a trailer for The Little Things here.
