After a public falling out with the party, the Sleaford Mods frontman has come out in support of Labour

Never one to shy away from voicing his political discontent, the Sleaford Mods’ frontman has stated that he’ll be voting for Labour in the upcoming General Election on 8 June.

In a Facebook post shared today (10 May), Williamson said, “I’m voting Labour because I care about other human beings, their welfare, millions affected under horrible cuts.” He continues, “I’m voting labour because I care about other human beings regardless of race, sexuality or disability. The Conservatives are pro destruction they hate you. They are animals, fuckin animals. Look at the fuckin place. It’s a mindless grey shithole.”

He also went on to respond to an anti-multiculturalism comment with, “Any person convinced that a single race existence on any one of these western islands is the way of human beings is clearly running away from themselves you meat packet.”

Last year, Williamson’s Labour membership was suspended for “online abuse” after tweeting about MP Dan Jarvis. In response, he told The Guardian“If they expel me from the party, I am really not that bothered.”

Williamson’s views are inextricably linked to the Sleaford Mods’ sound, which often sees the frontman vent his fury on class issues, the government and capitalism. View his latest status and Facebook interaction below.
