The rising talent performed the single 16 Shots for the first time on TV
Yesterday (23 May), Later… with Jools Holland presented their first all-female line-up featuring Lorde, Jane Birkin, Sheryl Crow and the Birmingham-born Holland-raised artist Stefflon Don – aka Stephanie Allen – amongst others.
The MC performed her single 16 Shots from 2016’s Real Ting mixtape. As her live TV debut, it cements her status as a rising artist. Allen is not one to shy away from the spotlight either, as she exudes a powerful sense of confidence. In an interview with Crack earlier this year, she said, “If I love everything that I put out it doesn’t affect me, no one can affect me. If you don’t like it I don’t really care, that’s up to you. It’s not about you.”
