The five-day festival has made its first announcement
Berlin Atonal will be celebrating its fifth edition this year, and it’s just announced ten world premiere live shows as well as a special opening night concert.
Diagonal boss Powell and iconic photographer Wolfgang Tillmans will be performing a live A/V show. Recently, the two collaborated on the video for the track Freezer. Former Vex’d artist Roly Porter and Paul Jebanasam will present their collaboration ALTAR.
Furthermore, Chinese composer and performance artist Pan Daijing will debut new work entitled Fist Piece – “a composed live act focusing on voice and the relationship between bodies”. Another highlight from the announced programme is a live performance from Russian DJ Inga Mauer.
Berlin Atonal will take place at Kraftwerk, on 16-20 August. You can check out the full announcement here.
