Octo Octa, Axel Boman, Midland and more to soundtrack installation at Motion

An immersive light installation is coming to the Yard Open Air Club

Earlier this year, Bristol’s Motion announced its first open-air event, and today (9 August) it’s been revealed that the venue will be making a new addition to the Yard Open Air Club.

Designed by Squidsoup, a LED installation – entitled Monolithic – will be pre-programmed to ambient hour-long sets from Octo Octa, Axel Boman, Midland, Daniel Avery, Lost Souls of Saturn and more. 5,376 suspended LED lights will form a cubic monolith.

The venue is set to launch its first open-air dance event on 26 August, during which the installation will run. Artists such as Jeff Mills, Seth Troxler, Octo Octa and more have been confirmed.
