Curator and producer Manuela Benetton has announced a series of events in Berlin
The series is set to take place in various churches with the aim of artists creating site-specific works to provide audiences with an emotional experience.
Pan Daijing will premiere her collaborative project with Valerio Tricoli and Werner Dafeldecker, entitled The Speaker, at Elisabethkirche. Described as a form of aural theatre, the project will take on the form of a performative piece exploring the notions of solipsism, paranoia and identity. Opening the project will be a concert from composer Beatriz Ferreyra.
Following on from the first event, on 7 October American artist Ellen Fullman is scheduled to perform with PAN artist Konrad Sprenger. Furthermore, on 14 November, there’ll be a special performance from composer Charlemagne Palestine, while Stine Janvin will use her vocals to imitate various layers of a synthesiser sequence.
