As anticipation builds for Blade Runner 2049 which lands in cinemas in October, a new trailer has been shared for Escapes, a documentary about Blade Runner screenwriter Hampton Fancher.
The doc is being directed by Michael Almereyda and executive produced by Wes Anderson. It tells the story of Fancher’s fascinating life through photographs and exclusive interviews.
As Dazed note, Fancher has also written the screenplay for Blade Runner 2049. He wrote the screenplay which would become Blade Runner in 1982.
