Rodarte has tapped the dream pop auteur for their new Autumn/Winter ’18 campaign, featuring the artist in a dreamy, pastel-coloured tulle ensemble.
For their portrait series, the fashion brand has also enlisted Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, Joanna Newsom and the Beyoncé-approved duo Chloe x Halle, along with actors Rowan Blanchard, Hong Chau and Tessa Mae Thompson.
Last year, Grimes appeared in a Stella McCartney perfume advert, for which she spoke about the brand’s sustainable practices. Recently, the Canadian artist shared a series of personal playlists to her Spotify account. Back in August, she revealed that the follow-up to Art Angels was “halfway done” and will be comprised of “more chill vibes, downtempos, synth-y shit”.
