Shake off surveillance in the dystopian video for Yakamoto Kotzuga’s Until We Fade

Yakamoto Kotzuga is the chosen moniker of Italian musician and sound designer Giacomo Mazzucato.

After the Venice Biennale commissioned Mazzucato to work collaboratively with visual artist Furio Ganz, he felt inspired to get working on his sophomore album.

The result is Slowly Fading – an experimental exploration of futures situated just beyond our grasp. The album will be released in March via La Tempesta International and the announcement comes with a brand new track and video for one of the record’s most high-impact moments, Until We Fade.

The themes of the LP are laid out fairly clearly in this Black Mirror-indebted mini-saga. Watch the video in the player above.
