New Albanian festival Kala to host inaugural edition at “undiscovered” location

A new Albanian festival, named Kala, is set to debut its first instalment at an “undiscovered paradise beach” location from 20-27 June.

The festival will showcase the “natural beauty of the Albanian Riviera” and will only be accessible by boat, lending it a remote quality that’s pertinent to its week-long event of music and escapism.

Details of Kala’s location and line-up are yet to be disclosed, though the organisers have promised it to be an event of open-air, round-the-clock parties that will stretch beyond sunrise hours. Though much of the event is shrouded in mystery, its festival partners have been announced, which include secretsundaze, Phonica, Feelings and Savage.

Tickets will go on sale on 23 January, with priority access available via Kala’s website.
