Blood Orange (aka Dev Hynes) has shared two new songs via his Soundcloud page.

Entitled Christopher & 6th and June 12th, the former Crack cover star clarifies on Instagram that the two tracks won’t feature on his new album. On the songs, he says, “U must luv yourself”.

Last October, the artist revealed that the follow-up to 2016’s Freetown Sound is “78% done”. Describing it as “a little dark”, the album will focus on Hynes’ childhood in England and address themes of growing up.

“If Freetown was delving into my parents from my eyes, being younger and now, this one is definitely me looking at my younger self, growing up in that setting.”

Recently, the artist guested on a track with LA punk duo Girlpool, named Picturesong.
