Bristol creative collective Terra Cotta Prints will celebrate their first birthday with special exhibition

Made up of filmmakers, illustrators and photographers, Bristol collective Terra Cotta Prints share “a mutual love for minimal artwork” fused with the experimental.

To celebrate their first birthday, the group are launching an experimental exhibition, titled Nothing To Spare. It’ll feature their works at Bristol’s Centrespace Gallery today (22 February), and run until 1 March.

Filmmaker Sam Mulvey said on the exhibition, “We want to experiment with the potential relationship between the art you come across on a gallery wall and the designs we naturally associate with clothing. Within this we want to see how far the statement ‘less is more really goes with visual art.”

Photographer Bram Van Dijk added, “Sometimes minimalism can mute the chaos in my head for some time, living in a big city with the entire internet in your pocket has something restless to it. For T.C.P. I try to take a break from the characters and the chaos, to search for a more calm and graphical take on capturing the city around us.”
