Current cover star Karin Dreijer, otherwise known as Fever Ray, has been booked for EXIT Festival’s opening night, along with the experimental pop artist Sevdaliza.
Last year, Dreijer released the album Plunge, her first full-length from the project in eight years, while Sevdaliza surprise dropped the album ISON via YouTube.
Billed as a festival where “hedonism meets activism”, last month, EXIT revealed its first wave of acts. Enlisting a number of techno heavyweights for the programme, the Serbian festival announced Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg for the line-up, along with rising talents Anastasia Kristensen and Amelie Lens.
EXIT Festival will be held at the historic Petrovaradin Fortress, in Novi Sad, on 12-15 July. Tickets are available to purchase now on their website.
