Dekmantel’s sister event Lente Kabinet is set to stage its seventh edition at Amsterdam’s Het Twiske on 26-27 May.
This year, the festival will expand to a weekender after originally being a one-day event. Those who’ve been announced for the bill include Kelela, esteemed saxophonist Kamaal Williams, former Crack cover star Ben UFO, Hunee – who appears on Crack’s list of The 50 Most Exciting DJs in the World (Right Now) – Motor City Drum Ensemble, house selector Peggy Gou, Orpheu the Wizard and Felix Dickinson. DJ Python will also head up the stage with a live set.
Extending beyond music, the arts programme will feature artists such as Steven de Peven, fashion designer Duran Lantink and Telemagic.
Last year, in Crack’s review, we said the festival had propelled itself from being a “best kept secret to [an] established landmark”.
