Kendrick Lamar experienced a number of technical difficulties during his performance at tonight’s Brit Awards.
Laying atop a clear transparent box containing a car, the beginning of his performance of Rich The Kid collaboration New Freezer was plagued with sound issues.
Set against a mirrored backdrop and flame throwers, a disclaimer during the show said, “This is another satire by Kendrick Lamar”. As the sports car was smashed up beneath him during his vocal delivery, the audio was frequently muted. Fans on Twitter have highlighted the show’s technical issues, with some commenting on the vehicle’s need of repair with the popular jingle, ‘auto glass repair, auto glass replace’. Tonight, the Compton native won the award for International Male Solo Artist. Upon accepting the award, he said, “I really appreciate this moment. I always had love for y’all. Truly, love.”
Last year, Lamar released the album DAMN., featuring the singles HUMBLE and DNA.

When you have no idea what Kendrick Lamar’s songs sound like you don’t know if there are technical difficulties or it is just what it sounds like. He was just laying there on the floor 😂 😂 😂 #BRITs2018 #KendrickLamar
