Kendrick Lamar wins International Male Solo Artist at 2018 Brit Awards

Kendrick Lamar takes home the award for International Male Solo Artist.

The Compton-born rapper went head-to-head against Beck, Childish Gambino, DJ Khaled and Drake. Last year, he released the album DAMN., featuring the singles HUMBLE and DNA. 

It isn’t the first time that Kendrick Lamar has been up for the Best International Male Solo Artist at the Brits, he was nominated in 2016 where he lost out to Justin Bieber.

Upon accepting the award, he said, “I really appreciate this moment. I always had love for y’all. Truly, love.”
