Gaika, Dixon, Jubilee and more are heading to Brooklyn’s BLACK 2018

MATTE Projects will stage its annual multi-dimensional event, BLACK, at an undisclosed location in Brooklyn on 31 March.

Fusing underground culture with experimental music and art, BLACK will bring a quintessentially New York experience to an unknown location. Jubilee – who features on our list of The 50 Most Exciting DJs in the World (Right Now) – has been booked for the line-up, along with Innervisions boss Dixon, Gaika, South Africa’s Culoe de Song, NOLIFE, Magazine co-founder Barnt, LA’s Dig Deeper label boss Masha, DJ Hell, Minimal Wave’s Veronica Vasicka and more.

On the event, MATTE Projects said, “With BLACK 2018 we hope to create further disruption, alter perceptions, and ignite inspiration with the carefully thought our music and visual programming we’ve selected. Our guests will be submerged in the darkness and explore with their senses an altered world filled with Imagined and unimagined forms – art and music will combine once again in our own unique way.”
