The Belfast festival has also unveiled the programme for its conference element.
Having already announced a host of artists including Helena Hauff, Floorplan, Midland, Or:la and Sunil Sharpe for the third instalment of its weekender, AVA has topped out its bill with a Northern Irish debut from Larry Heard. Heard will also appear as part of the accompanying free conference along with the likes of Bicep and KiNK.
Last month, Larry Heard announced his first album in 25 years as Mr Fingers. Cerebral Hemispheres will land on 13 April via his own label, Alleviated Records.
The two-day festival and conference will be held in Belfast on 1-2 June at the MAC, the city’s contemporary arts centre.
