Brooklyn club Elsewhere is expanding with the launch of a rooftop venue and bar.
The space opens on Memorial Day Weekend (28 May), and the first wave of acts on the programme include Jubilee, Jacques Greene, Mr. Twin Sister, Zimmer, Waajeed, Nicola Cruz, Little Boots, J. Phlip and more.
Tuesday nights will be reserved for the venue’s Landscape programme, which will feature films, food and open-air installations, and entry on Wednesday and Thursday nights will remain free.
Meanwhile, the weekend programme will be designed to “support emerging music across genre boundaries all summer, with an eye towards expanding the horizons of our calendar to serve an ever more diverse community”.
The Rooftop will be situated at 599 Johnson Avenue, and it’s set to be Elsewhere’s fifth experience, expanding upon The Hall, Zone One, The Loft and the Skybridge Gallery. Head to Elsewhere’s website for more information.
