Jimothy Lacoste and Lee “Scratch” Perry to play Ortigia Sound System 2018

The Italian festival has made some further additions to its 2018 line-up.

Viral YouTube sensation Jimothy Lacoste joins the programme, along with pioneering reggae artist Lee “Scratch” Perry and Jarreau Vandal. Uniting global names with local acts, Italian artists Cesare Basile, Stump Valley, Kassiel and Gropina also step up for the festival’s upcoming edition.

Previously confirmed acts include former Crack Magazine cover star Omar Souleyman, Call Super, James Holden & the Animal Spirits, Flohio, Young Marco and Zaltan. Ortigia Sound System is set to celebrate its fifth edition this year at Sicily’s Ortigia island on 25-29 July, and the opening event will be held at Syracuse Gulfwill.
