Unsound Krakow has announced its first wave of acts for 2018.

Joining the festival’s upcoming edition is former Crack Magazine cover star Ben UFO, one half of The Knife Olof Dreijer, Alva Noto, Amnesia Scanner, Blawan, JASSS, Lucrecia Dalt, Marie Davidson, Shyboi and more. Skee Mask is also set to play a back-to-back session with The Zenker Brothers.

This year, the festival will be hosting two special premieres, with footwork producer Jlin set to present the European premiere of Autobiography Edits with Company Wayne McGregor. The show is a compact version of McGregor’s Autobiography and will feature an original score by Jlin, performed live with dancers. Rabit is set to team up with visual artist Sam Rolfes and the multidisciplinary House of Kenzo for the show Magna Surgat.

This year’s theme is Presence, and the festival will be shaped around conversations on mediated existence and how to disengage from social media.

Unsound Festival will be held at Wianki, Kraków, on 7-14 October. Head to the event’s website for more information, and listen to Crack Mix 175 with JASSS.
