A new documentary, a follow-up to David Bowie: Five Years and David Bowie: The Last Five Years,is underway.
According to David Bowie News, the new documentary will be called The First Five Years and will focus on the star’s early years. While information is currently scarce, we do know that the documentary will air in 2019.
David Bowie: Five Years first aired in 2013, while David Bowie: The Last Five Years was debuted in 2017. The titles derive from the 1971 track Five Years from his album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust.
The late artist passed away on 10 January 2016. His last album, Blackstar, was released shortly before his death and the musician worked on the script for the musical Lazarus in his last few months.
