A five-week run of events will take place in Berlin to mark the 20th anniversary of Red Bull Music Academy.
Red Bull Music Festival has announced the full programme for its inaugural Berlin edition. A variety of performances, talks and world premieres will take place from 8 September to 12 October. Live sets will be headed up by Tony Allen, Nina Kraviz and Dixon, and elsewhere on the schedule there’s Sevdaliza, Radio Slave and DJ Rush amongst others. Oneohtrix Point Never and Jlin are also set to be at the controls of the world premiere of Symphony Sound System – the festival’s new 4D spatial sound system.
Beyond the remit of music, NYC rapper Pusha T and Janelle Monáe are set to participate in discussions and talks. The 23 events on the agenda are all set to take place across various venues in the German city including Tresor, Musikbrauerei, Griessmuehle and Paloma Bar.
