Joseph Maus passed away on tour in Cēsis, Latvia, on 28 July.
The news was confirmed by his label Ribbon Music. An online statement reads: “We offer our deepest and most sincere condolences to Joe’s family, Robert, Sue, Kevin, Stephanie, and John Maus, as well as his bandmates Luke and Jonathan, his friends, and all those suffering this tragic loss.”
Joseph was in Latvia to perform with his brother. The cause of death is currently unknown, and John Maus’ tour dates have subsequently been cancelled.
