Peaking Lights has signed to Dekmantel to release their EP Sea of Sand.
Slated for release on 15 October, the EP will act as a prelude to an upcoming LP. It’s the California duo’s first release of 2018, and their first in three years that’s not released on their own label.
Comprised of six tracks, the EP will see the two explore dub and experimental soundscapes for over 30 minutes. Recorded in a home studio together, duo Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis worked with tape and tape scratching effects to lend the album a dubbier feel.
