The south London rapper made his debut on Later… with Jools Holland this week.
Octavian performed the track Little, taken from his 2018 mixtape Spaceman. It marks the artist’s first performance on TV, and his first on the show. Spanish flamenco artist Rosalía also appeared on the show. Both Octavian and Rosalía feature on Crack Magazine’s list of 25 artists shaping the future of music.
Currently, Later… with Jools Holland is in its 53rd series, which has featured Idles, Soft Cell, Crack’s agony aunt Nakhane and more.
Octavian was recently announced as the special guest of Bristol festival Simple Things. He’s set to perform during the Day programme at SWX, 9pm (BST).
