A host of selectors will be coming together to raise funds for victims of the tsunami and earthquake disaster in Indonesia.
Titled Relief for Indonesia, the fundraiser will be held at Berlin’s Arena Club on 4 October. Those announced for the line-up include Discwoman affiliate mobilegirl, Brat Star, LINNÉA, Nico Adomako, Sarah Farina and more. All proceeds of the one-day event will go towards the #palukuat relief action, run by local organisations and artists.
The initiative will help provide support for solar powered electricity, water filters, solar powered lights and establishing means of communication.
Indonesia was hit by a tsunami and earthquake on 28 September. The current death toll has climbed above 1,400. Thousands have been injured and over 70,000 people have been displaced.
