CTM Festival adds Kode9, Venetian Snares and Perera Elsewhere to 2019 line-up

Kode9

The Berlin festival is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary next year on 25 January to 3 February.

CTM Festival has announced the second wave of acts for its special anniversary edition, adding the likes of Kode9, Venetian Snares, Perera Elsewhere and Linn da Quebrada to the line-up. They join an already stellar billing alongside Actress, Gazelle Twin, Lotic, Tirzah and Yves Tumor.

The event will host a programme of contemporary electronic and experimental music, along with a diverse range of activities. Next year, CTM is set to combine 10 evenings of concerts and club nights with a daytime programme of talks, workshops and exhibitions across various cultural hotspots in the UK city, including Astra, Berghain, HAU Hebbel am Ufer and YAAM.

Since its inception in 1999, CTM has partnered with the annual art festival Transmediale. Both events share an interest in presenting leading trends in digital culture, and developing critical and innovative discourses across music and media. CTM is an independent project organised by DISK Berlin, a platform that aims to support the creation of experimental and avant-garde music and visual art.

Passes are available from CTM’s website and range from 120€ to 190€. Tickets for individual events go on sale in December. Listen to our Sonos podcast with Perera Elsewhere.
