The week-long event will take place on 7-13 August 2019 at Budapest’s Óbudai-sziget island.
The Hungarian festival announces Bristol five-piece IDLES for its next edition, along with Superorganism, Boy Pablo, Pale Waves, Jungle and Parcels. Furthermore, chart juggernauts The 1975, Florence & the Machine, Ed Sheeran and Martin Garrix have been confirmed as headliners.
Since its first edition in 1993, Sziget has aimed to attract an international audience and the world’s biggest names in music to the Hungarian capital of Budapest. Attended by over 500,000 people annually, Sziget brings together a programme of world-class music with theatre, cabaret, installations and visual art. With preparations well underway for next August, 2019 is set to see the festival expand on past editions to stage its largest chapter yet.
Week passes are available from 299€, with different payment plans to spread the cost over three, four or five months. Other options also include five-day, three-day and single-day passes.
