Ian MacKaye is reuniting with Fugazi member Joe Lally and The Even’s Amy Farina to form an as-yet-unnamed group.
The band will make their debut on 11 November at Washington, DC’s St Stephen’s Auditorium. Journalist Matt Cohen noted the low-key announcement, which was “buried at the end of a Positive Force email asking for volunteers to help staff a flea market.” The show will benefit the free meal service Loaves & Fishes.
In March, Joe Lally revealed on Vish Khanna’s Kreative Kontrol podcast that Fugazi occasionally “play some music together”. Read Cohen’s tweets below.
