Mel B let slip on this morning’s (5 November) Loose Women that the Spice Girls are set to reunite for a tour.

The Spice Girls member revealed on ITV’s Loose Women that the group will be making a live comeback, minus fifth member Victoria Beckham. Those embarking on the tour are Geri Horner (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Melanie Brown (Scary Spice). As reported by The Sunthe announcement will be made via a “secretly-filmed video”, which will include UK stadium dates for summer 2019.

“It’s just the four of us, but [Victoria] might join us at some point. I hope so,” Mel B said on the UK show. “I think it would be a shame if she didn’t.”

She adds, “She’s got a full on life with her commitments and the fashion line and her kids so she’s not committing just yet. I’m hoping it’ll change.”

The Spice Girls originally disbanded in 2000 and reunited in 2007 for a tour called The Return of the Spice Girls. A brief reunion took place in 2012 at the Olympics closing ceremony, where they ran through the hits Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life. Last year, the group’s sophomore album, Spiceworld, turned 20.
