The late rapper’s death has been categorised as an accidental overdose.

A toxicology report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office reveals that Mac Miller died from a mix of fentanyl and cocaine. According to the report obtained by USA Today, alcohol was also in his system. While there wasn’t necessarily a lethal amount of either drug, the combination caused “mixed drug toxicity”, leading to the rapper’s death.

Miller passed away on 7 September at the age of 26. His assistant found him dead at his home in San Fernando Valley at around noon.
