According to Film Music Reporter, the award-winning composer has scored a new film directed by Alejandro Landes.
Entitled Monos, the film will screen at Sundance Festival 2019. It’s the director’s third feature film, following up from 2011’s Porfirio, and it follows a group of eight children armed with guns, watching over a hostage.
This year, Levi produced Tirzah’s debut LP Devotion, which Crack Magazine has ranked as one of 2018’s top 50 albums. She also teamed up with Eliza McCarthy for the EP Slow Dark Green Murky Waterfall, and featured on Dean Blunt’s surprise release Soul on Fire. In the field of film scoring, Levi has previously been tapped for the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis biopic Jackie, which earned her Oscar and BAFTA nominations.
