Nuits Sonores announces The Black Madonna, Deena Abdelwahed and Laurent Garnier for 2019 edition

The festival will take place across various venues in Lyon from 29 May to 1 June.

Nuits Sonores has revealed the first 10 confirmed acts for their 2019 edition. The line-up so far includes The Black Madonna, Deena Abdelwahed, James Blake, Laurent Garnier and Mall Grab, with more yet to be announced.

The 17th edition of the festival has been curated by four leading figures in electronic music: Bonobo, Peggy Gou, Maceo Plex and Lena Willikens. Between them, the curators will no doubt come up with an outstanding final line-up, details of which will be released on 6 February.

The festival is renowned for its rich food culture and UNESCO World Heritage Site architecture. Nuits Sonores will make use of various venues within the city, including former factories and large-scale concert halls.
