The east London venues confirm DJ Stingray, Mumdance, Leif, Jane Fitz and more.

Bethnal Green’s Oval Space and its adjacent warehouse location have announced their residents for 2019. Leading electro artist DJ Stingray joins the venue, and after the success of his Shared Meanings Oval Space party in November, Mumdance is also stepping up to complete a 12-month residency.

Alongside these new additions, Sadar Bahar’s residency is renewed for a second year. The Chicago selector’s first party of 2019, scheduled for 16 February, will see Awesome Tapes from Africa, Mim Suleiman, John Gomez and Debora Ipekel join him in the booth.

Over at The Pickle Factory, Leif will bring his eclectic mix of ambient, house and jungle to the venue throughout 2019. On 30 March, his first event of the year will see him play back-to-back with a special guest, alongside Gigsta and the debut of Forest Drive West’s new live project.

The Pickle Factory’s remaining residents for 2019 are all returning acts. Jane Fitz inaugurates her third term as club resident with a seven-hour set on 18 January. Later in the year, techno DJ Gwenan kicks off her second stint at the venue with a party on 15 February, playing alongside Binh. Tottenham’s Josey Rebelle resumes her residency on 9 February. Her homecoming party will be a night of soulful dance music, delivered with a helping hand from Carista and Shy One.
