The Radiohead frontman is set to debut new music at the London venue.
Thom Yorke will perform a new piece, entitled Don’t Fear the Light, at the Barbican on 19 April. The musician will be joining the classical collective Minimalist Dream House as a special guest for their concert.
The first half of the show will see members Katia and Marielle Labèque perform alongside The National’s Bryce Dessner and composer David Chalmin. The programme will see the group play material by Max Richter, David Lang, Timo Andres, Caroline Shaw Dessner and Chalmin. Yorke is set to helm the second half of the show, performing his new piece with the Labèque siblings.
Recently, Yorke announced the EP Suspiria Limited Edition Unreleased Material. Designed to be a companion EP to his Suspiria score, the release will feature seven unheard tracks from the Suspiria recording sessions.
Tickets to the Barbican concert can be purchased via their website.
