Crack Magazine’s February cover star has released a new track and video.
Following up from the single Doorman, produced by Mura Masa, the Northampton rapper has released Peace of Mind. According to the press release, the track sees slowthai “tackle the idea of what kind of life is out there for people like him”.
Peace of Mind comes accompanied by a visual that sees him the rapper cycle through a repetitive Groundhog Day-style dream sequence. Between scenes of the rapper repeatedly waking up from a dream, slowthai is seen surrounded by drug paraphernalia and later, bleeding with his brain exposed.
His debut album, Nothing Great About Britain, is out this year via Method Records. A release date is yet to be confirmed.
