Erykah Badu, James Blake and Big Thief locked for Flow Festival 2019

The Helsinki festival has added a number of heavyweight acts to its 2019 line-up.

Erykah Badu – aka the godmother of soul – has been announced for the programme. Having recently made his return with the album Assume FormJames Blake is also set to join her on the bookings. Furthermore, Big Thief, Khruangbin, Stereolab, Astrid Swan & Stina Koistinen with Owen Pallett have been confirmed for the festival’s bookings.

They join former Crack Magazine cover stars slowthai and Mitski on the line-up. Those previously announced for the Front Yard stage include Nina Kraviz, Donato Dozzy and DJ Python.

Flow will be held on 9-11 August at Helsinki’s Suvilahti – a former energy production area with an extensive outdoor space. Over 100 acts will perform at the space over the course of three days.
