The Portuguese festival has unveiled the line-up for its upcoming edition.

Multi-instrumentalist and avid gear collector Alessandro Cortini steps up for the weekender, along with Avalon Emerson, Factory Floor’s Nik Void, Rian Treanor, Deaf Center, Ipek Gorgun and more. Scanner will join forces with artist Miguel Tavares for a world premiere of their show based around a Portuguese modular synthesis system.

Last year, Semibreve cemented its status as a “thoughtful, low-key standout in the experimental festival circuit”. Previous editions have seen the festival host The Haxan Cloak, William Basinki, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Oliver Coates and more on its stages. For its next chapter, the Portuguese event will return to Braga on 25-27 October, where its programme will unfold across multiple venues in the city including the Theatro Circo venue and Casa Rolão.

Tickets can be purchased via the festival’s website for €39. Read Crack Magazine’s in-depth feature with Avalon Emerson.
