Over 50 acts have been added to the line-up for the Montreal festival.

The six-day event has added a roster of artists to the programme. Rising Tunisian producer Deena Abdelwahed joins the programme, along with Overmono, Matmos, Rashad Becker and Ena, Domenique Dumont and more.

Other notable bookings include a DJ set from D Tiffany, and a series of digital works by Italian collective fuse*, entitled Dökk. They join Gudrun Gut, Call Super, Gaika and Blawan on the line-up.

Furthermore, Mutek has confirmed the details of its venues and programme splits. The multi-sensorial series A/Visions will be held in the concert hall of the Maisonneuve Theatre in the Place des Arts. There, the line-up will feature the likes of Tim Hecker & Konoyo Ensemble, Ryoichi Kurokawa and more. Mutek’s Nocturne series is set to take over three venues across six nights, while Play, a “programme for unfettered imaginations”, will take place at Agora from Thursday to Saturday. An outdoor stage, named Experience, will be constructed at the Esplanade de la Place des Arts.

Mutek will run from 20-25 August. Head to the festival’s website for more details.
