Following the cancellation of his surprise show in London last weekend (18 May), Tyler, the Creator has announced two new dates.

The rapper will play at O2 Academy Brixton on 16-17 September. Tickets will go on sale this Friday (24 May) at 10am (GMT).

Tyler’s highly-anticipated album Igor landed on Friday (17 May), and the rapper announced a surprise gig at Peckham’s Bussey Building the next day. Masses of fans showed up for the return of the elusive American rapper, but police shut down the event before the show began due to a “rowdy” crowd and overcrowding issues. It was due to be his first performance in the UK since his ban from entering the country was lifted earlier this year, on 13 February.

Igor serves as the follow-up to 2017’s Grammy-nominated Flower Boy. All songs on the new release have been written, produced and arranged by Tyler. It features contributions from former Crack Magazine cover star slowthai, Kanye West, Solange, Playboi Carti and more.
