Sublimate NYC’s Smangtasia festival has released details and listings for 2019.
Discwoman’s Ciel, Hotmass’ Gusto and Carlos Souffront are just some of the host of guests announced the intimate festival in Roxbury NY, on 26-28 July. Turtle Bugg, Russell E.L. Butler, Clay Wilson, Faco, Mary Yuzovskaya, and Sagotsky also feature on the billing.
The festival will also welcome Savile, Black Noi$e, CCL, Korea Town Acid (live), Katie Rex, Kiernan Laveaux, ADAB, MX SILKMAN, Father Of Two and Abby Echiverri (live).
New York promoter Sublimate is back producing the next installment of the festival, which takes place at Stone Tavern Farm, three hours from NYC. The three-day event, running 26-28 July, boasts a unique location in the heart of the mountains, transforming 400-acres of open fields and barns into a dancing haven.
Sublimate founder, and resident DJ Turtle Bugg made a statement on this year’s event: “The scene is always changing because NYC is in constant flux. People have short memories, and in these days, short attention spans. No matter what, we refuse to lower our standards. As the heyday of doing monthly 12-hour parties has passed, we have looked at how to keep doin’ our thang. Our focus shall be on cultivating and connecting the parts of the overall American scene.”
