Neopop Festival reveals a line-up of artists for two exclusive nights on the Red Bull Music stage.

Neopop Festival has announced a wave of new artists for two exclusive nights of experimental electronic music on the Red Bull Music stage. Spiritually influenced artist Aïsha Devi will present a live AV show featuring Emile Barret on the Saturday night, alongside Plaid & Felix’s Machine. Shiro – the duo of French illustrator Noemi Schipfer and Japanese architect and musician Takami Nakamoto – has been announced for the Friday night, as well as SURTO, the new project from Carlos Maria Trindade, Switchdance, João Botelho and Marta Viana.

The Red Bull Music stage will run for two nights of the festival (9 and 10 August) at the historical Sá de Miranda Theater in the old town of Viana do Castelo, Portugal and aims to “explore the new electronic music borders.” The overall event runs from 7-10 of August at various venues in the town.

These additions mean that Neopop has completed its line-up for 2019. These new artists join those previously announced including Jeff Mills, Rødhåd and Wata Igarishi. Neopop’s 2019 edition pledges to “keep techno safe”, and promises a 4-day event featuring a diverse line-up of some of the underground’s biggest names.
